ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sun Country Airlines announced today a sale for summer and fall travel with fares as low as $49 one-way. Markets included are Branson, Washington D.C., New York, Los Angeles and more. Whether consumers want a summer getaway or a plan a fall escape – these sales fares are a great deal for all.
These fares are available immediately either online at suncountry.com or through reservations at 1-800-359-6786. Tickets must be purchased by June 5 and will be good for travel from June 16 through October 31, 2009. Sales Fares and Markets below:

*Stated fares are good for travel June 16, 2009 through October 31, 2009 except Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, DC which end September 30, 2009, Boston which ends September 29, 2009 and Anchorage which ends September 10, 2009. Fares are one-way, require a 14-day advance purchase and must be purchased by 11:59pm CT on June 5, 2009. Stated fares are good for travel from Minneapolis/St. Paul Sundays through Wednesdays and for travel to Minneapolis/St. Paul Tuesdays through Fridays. Stated fares are for base ticket price and Federal Excise Tax only; taxes and fees, including the Federal segment tax of $3.60 per U.S. domestic flight segment, defined as one takeoff and landing; up to $18 per roundtrip in local airport Passenger Facility Charges; and the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per U.S. enplanement, up to $5 per one way or $10 per roundtrip and Alaska tax of $8 are extra. Stated fares are not retroactive and cannot be applied to previously purchased tickets. Seats are limited; space may not be available on all flights. Schedules are subject to change. Tickets are nonrefundable, but can be changed for a $75 change fee plus the difference to the new fare. Names can be changed for a $75 per ticket fee. Passengers may check their first bag for $15 each way and check a second bag for $25 each way; each bag is not to exceed 62 linear inches (length plus width plus height) and 50 pounds. Additional bags, as well as bags over 62 linear inches and 50 pounds, are subject to excess baggage fees of $75 each additional piece of excess baggage.
