AeroMexico’s inaugural flight between New Orleans and Mexico City with connecting service to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, launch events at airport. Brief presentations and ribbon-cutting celebrate launch of the first regularly scheduled non-stop international airline service in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina. Presenters will outline the importance of AeroMexico’s new flights in supporting New Orleans’ reemergence as a major international market by expanding access to business, travel and tourism opportunities between these international markets.
