Sun Country Airlines Ranked in Travel+Leisure’s World’s Best Service Awards List of Top Domestic Airlines
ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sun Country Airlines announced today that it has been ranked on the list of Top Domestic Airlines in Travel+Leisure’s 2009 World’s Best Service Awards. The awards are based on a readers’ survey that ranks travel companies based on personal service and attention.
“I’m very proud to work with a great team of employees dedicated to providing a level of service uncommon in the airline industry today,” said Stan Gadek, CEO of Sun Country Airlines. “Quite frankly, I think we have the best people in this business and I am very proud of them.” Gadek went on to say, “I also want to thank our customers who supported us in achieving this award.”
Sun Country Airlines, number six in the top ten, is joined by Virgin America and JetBlue Airways. All domestic carriers – from large legacy airlines to small charter airlines – were eligible for the award.
Sun Country has now been ranked four years in a row in the top ten list of domestic airlines by Travel+Leisure’s World’s Best Award. In addition Condé Nast Traveler has also ranked Sun Country as one of the best airlines for the past three years.
