Management Dynamics Appoints Ken Harvey to its Board of Directors
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Management Dynamics, a leading provider of Global Trade Management (GTM) solutions, today announced the appointment of Ken Harvey to the company’s Board of Directors. An expert in real-time financial transaction processing and IT management, Mr. Harvey brings valuable years of industry experience and strategic guidance to Management Dynamics as it continues to extend its leadership position in GTM software and information services.
Mr. Harvey is a member of the Group Management Board for HSBC Holdings plc and the company’s Chief Technology and Services Officer (CTSO). In this capacity, he is responsible for the development, deployment and operation of the technology assets of the company, as well as the daily operation of the company’s middle and back offices. Previously, Mr. Harvey served as Group General Manager and CIO. In this role, he led the design, development and implementation of a standard set of global banking applications and the continual operation of the company’s vast global network. He was responsible for the e-commerce channel, payment processing operations, purchasing and accounts payable functions. In recognition of his achievements in the technology arena, Mr. Harvey has received numerous industry awards. He holds advisory positions in local government, technology and on charitable committees and has also served as an independent board member in emerging technology companies.
“We are delighted to welcome Mr. Harvey to our Board,” said Barry Williams, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Management Dynamics. “His in-depth experience in trade finance and the development of leading-edge technology will be invaluable as we continue to innovate our portfolio of GTM solutions.”
“Companies that trade globally have vast opportunities to improve cash-cash cycles and better manage risk by adopting new GTM technologies. Management Dynamics offers a unique competitive advantage by combining real-time technology with robust trade data. Far from an emerging technology company, we have a proven track record of helping companies “go global” and deliver increased levels of compliance and operational efficiencies,” said Mr. Harvey. “I am excited to join the Management Dynamics Board of Directors and help the business bridge its solutions to the financial supply chain.”
