Manzhouli is located on the borders of China, Mongolia and Russia, and has become a popular tourist destination in recent years. Air China's newly launched route will help promote economic, trade and tourism development in Manzhouli, as well as improve communications and cooperation between the city and Beijing while strengthening cooperation between China and its neighboring countries.
For the Chengdu-Urumqi-Korla Sinkiang route, a daily flight departs from Chengdu at 12:45am, transfers via Urumqi and arrives in Korla Sinkiang at 5:45pm. The return flight departs from Korla Sinkiang at 6:35pm every day, transfers via Urumqi and arrives in Chengdu at 11:30pm. This route is part of the government's Xinjiang support program and connects Xinjiang with central regions of China, building a bridge for the economic and cultural development of Xinjiang.
With visits to the coasts and seaside resorts of China becoming more and more popular, Air China has launched its Chongqing-Qingdao route. Flights are available on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and depart from Chongqing at 9:10am and arrive in Qingdao at 11:25am. The return flights depart from Qingdao at 12:25am and arrive at Chongqing at 3:00pm. With the Qingdao Beer Festival opening recently, this route will be popular with tourists from Central China.
