MIAMI and ATHENS, Greece, October 29, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- AIMS Corp has announced that flydubai, the first 'Low Cost' airline of Dubai and one of the world's fastest-growing start-up airlines, has selected for their Crew Management and Operations Control Requirements the "state-of-the-art," technologically advanced, "low-cost" Airline Information Management solution provided by AIMS.
Founded in March 2008, under the Chairmanship of HE Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum a $4bn order was placed with Boeing for the delivery of 50 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft. The 737-800 is among the most fuel efficient and environmentally-friendly aircraft today.
Operations commenced in June 2009. An ever expanding route network now serves 24 destinations across the GCC, Levant, the Indian sub-continent and the former CIS and North Africa.
