Proplanner Seeks Value Added Resellers
AMES, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bob John has been named as VP of World Wide Sales at Proplanner. He joins the Proplanner team with a diverse background in information technology, and value added reseller (VAR) management. Bob has an Industrial Engineering degree from Iowa State University and a Masters degree in Systems Management from USC. He spent three years in the Navy and over 25 years in various roles at IBM, including sales rep, director and vice president. Bob also spent several years at two large IT value added resellers, including most recently at Insight Enterprises, where he served as the Vice President of Corporate Sales.

Dr. Dave Sly, President of Proplanner states, “Bob is a great addition to our team. He will be instrumental in expanding our global VAR program, which will be based on established Engineering Service, and ERP Service firms. Bob will also be expanding our in-house team of talented industrial engineers who assist clients with product evaluations and deployments.”
Bob’s role at Proplanner is to manage our 100% annual growth strategy for worldwide sales, including expansion of a partner network with engineering service providers and resellers. In addition, Bob will be launching an expanded program with leading universities to enable engineering students to learn and use the Proplanner Advanced Process Engineering software applications.

Proplanner offers solutions for both direct labor management (such as line balancing, assembly planning and workplace planning), as well as indirect labor management including material flow analysis and strategic layout planning.
