Optomec Reports Record Financial Results for Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2010
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Optomec, a leading global supplier of additive manufacturing systems for SmartPhone, Solar, Display and Aerospace applications, today announced record financial performance for its fourth quarter and full year ending December 31, 2010.

For the fiscal year, both new Bookings and Revenues grew approximately 25% over 2009, resulting in a Book-to-Bill ratio of greater than 1.2. The Company was profitable with an EBITDA of approximately 8% of Net Sales, despite continued heavy investment in next generation product development. For more information on Optomec, click here.
Optomec’s growth trend accelerated in the fourth quarter with a 77% increase in new Bookings over the prior year period, and International orders remained robust at 55% of total annual bookings.
“The fourth quarter was a tremendous finish to our year with continued strong global demand for both our Aerosol Jet and LENS systems,” said Dave Ramahi, Optomec President and CEO. “The growth in Aerosol Jet system sales is being driven by a range of solutions we’ve developed for the SmartPhone and Display industries; while resurgent LENS sales are a reflection of the adoption of our technologies for Aerospace repair with five new systems sold for this application.
