Jaguar Freight Services Opens First Mainland China Office, Promotes Asia-Pacific Regional Executive

VALLEY STREAM, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jaguar Freight Services, a leading international logistics provider serving a full range of business customers and shipping requirements, will open a new sales office in Shenzhen, Southern China effective March 21, 2011. The Shenzhen office is the official entry into mainland China for Jaguar, which has nearly 50 worldwide office and agent locations.

“The Shenzhen office will help strengthen our customers’ supply chain so that it adds real value to their business”

The Shenzhen office will be under the direct leadership of Chikei Ho, who is also promoted from Managing Director of Jaguar’s Hong Kong office, to Vice President Asia-Pacific (APAC). Encompassing agents in 15 regional countries, Jaguar APAC is, along with Jaguar EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) and Jaguar Americas, one of three group organizations responsible for implementing the company’s worldwide programs to grow Jaguar’s client base and further enhance customer service.

Mr. Ho has nearly 20 years of executive experience heading transportation, supply chain and marketing for three logistics companies in the Asia-Pacific region. He is a graduate of the advanced logistics program at the Ecole de Management de Normandie, and holds a Master’s degree in financial management from the Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II). Working with Mr. Ho in the Shenzhen office’s executive team will be:

  • Chief Representative Samson Li, a Hong Kong native who has been based in Shenzhen for 10 years and has 12 years of business development and key accounts management experience with regional logistics service providers.
  • Business Development Manager Benny He, whose eight years of sales and marketing background at several transport service providers in the region include working relationships with major corporate clients.

“The opening of the Shenzhen office represents our continued commitment to future growth and expansion in the Asia-Pacific market,” states Simon Kaye, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jaguar Freight Services. “China is the world’s global sourcing lynchpin and remains at the center of the region’s enhanced distribution channels, yet its continued rapid economic development poses complex logistics challenges. Chikei Ho and his team have the skills and experience to meet those challenges and reinforce Jaguar Freight’s logistics leadership in the region as they take our service commitment to even higher levels of consistency, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.”

“The Shenzhen office will help strengthen our customers’ supply chain so that it adds real value to their business,” Mr. Ho adds. “The combination of expertise, world class technology and commitment to on-time, reliable delivery that we have built throughout the APAC region will contribute to the office’s role in support of Jaguar’s comprehensive freight forwarding capability.”

Throughout its global organization, Jaguar Freight provides fully integrated door-to-door supply-chain solutions which its customers experience through their proprietary CyberTraxTM 2.0 real time, online information and supply-chain management system. The company has a global client list that ranges from blue chip multinational corporations to small specialist businesses. www.jaguarfreight.com
