Breitling Offers High Flyers Once in a Lifetime Flightprize
Dépèche transmise le 21 avril 2011 par PRNewswire
GRENCHEN, Switzerland, April 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Swiss luxury watch brand Breitling has launched an exciting global photo competition on Facebook to win a Private Pilot's License (PPL). A once-in-a-lifetime flight with the prestigious Breitling Jet Team is also on offer as a prize for the runner-up.
Hollywood's top pilot John Travolta to name winner
A panel of aviation heroes, which include famed A-list pilot John Travolta and Swiss aerial adventurer Yves "Jetman" Rossy, will judge the final entries in the 'Spirit of Aviation' photo competition. An avid pilot for decades, Travolta is qualified to fly several aircraft and has been an ambassador for Breitling for many years.
As a company, Breitling lives and breathes aviation so the competition is as exciting for those behind the concept as it is for those who can submit their photos online via the dedicated Facebook application before the closing date of 17th May 2011.
"It will be interesting to see how people interpret the 'Spirit of Aviation' and we look forward to seeing some great pictures!" said a Breitling representative. "It's a change from showing people our joy of aviation through our sponsored teams and projects by directly involving the public. It might give people a new career, hobby or interest."
The winner will be awarded training towards a PPL in their country. The runner-up will be flown business class to Dijon in France to fly with the legendary Breitling Jet Team.
