Management Dynamics Automates Global Export Compliance at Lantiq for Over 200 Million Devices a Year with its Global Trade Management Software Platform
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Management Dynamics, a leading provider of global trade management solutions, today announced that Lantiq has implemented Management Dynamics’ Trade Automation Export compliance solution across its global operations. As a world-leading provider of products and solutions for next-generation networks and the digital home, Lantiq now manages compliance and reduces related corporate risk for 30,000 shipments and over 200 million devices a year.
“We are very happy with the support we received during the implementation and being able to go-live ahead of schedule is testament to the professional services team’s expertise as well as the intelligent design of Management Dynamics’ technology and solution.”
Lantiq is a privately owned company that was recently spun-off from Infineon Technologies, where the Management Dynamics solution had been in use since early 2009.
“With Management Dynamics, we have an all-in-one trade export automation and compliance solution that fully meets all of our needs,” said Virginia Wieland, Project leader at Lantiq. “We are very happy with the support we received during the implementation and being able to go-live ahead of schedule is testament to the professional services team’s expertise as well as the intelligent design of Management Dynamics’ technology and solution.”
The Management Dynamics export compliance solution is fully integrated into Lantiq’s SAP order management system. It centralizes and manages the customer’s international transaction management process, including restricted party screening (RPS), export license determination and tracking. Audit trails and complete management reporting facilitate Lantiq’s compliance with European, Asian and US government regulations, and reduces risks and costs associated with global trade.
Management Dynamics’ End-Use Manager module is a portal that automatically generates customized end-use surveys for parties involved in any cross-border transaction, helping the compliance team to comprehensively survey and collect end-use statements from customers, suppliers and employees.
“As a newly formed company, Lantiq had numerous system migration and implementation projects running simultaneously, so we are particularly proud that it succeeded in completing this implementation in record time, with minimal resources,” commented Nathan Pieri, Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Management Dynamics.
