AIRES Signs Distribution Agreement with Sabre Travel Network
SOUTHLAKE, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sabre Travel Network has signed a multi-year, full-content distribution agreement with AIRES, Colombia’s second-largest domestic carrier.
“We are pleased to work with AIRES and help them achieve their growth goals by leveraging all of the benefits of the Sabre GDS”
The agreement marks AIRES’ entry into the global distribution system (GDS) and is a critical part of the carrier’s growth plans into corporate travel. AIRES plans to make all its fares and inventory, including ancillary fares, available to Sabre Connected travel agents worldwide.
“As AIRES continues to grow we are confident the Sabre GDS will help us reach more business travelers and expand the visibility of our products through online travel agencies,” said Pablo Yunis, chief commercial officer for AIRES. “Sabre Travel Network provides us a tremendous opportunity to work closely with travel agents to help them sell our products and services in the most efficient channel for them.”
All AIRES inventory will be available to Sabre Connected travel agents in real time and includes true last-seat availability.
“We are pleased to work with AIRES and help them achieve their growth goals by leveraging all of the benefits of the Sabre GDS,” said David Gross, senior vice president of Travel Supplier Distribution. “Latin America is one of the fastest growing regions in the travel industry and Sabre is proud to be an integral part of the travel community throughout the region.”
