Astrodyne Corporation Acquires Jerome Industries
MANSFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Astrodyne Corporation, a leading provider of power solutions, announced it has completed the acquisition of Jerome Industries (“Jerome”). Since 1964, Elizabeth, New Jersey-based Jerome has been a supplier of modified custom and standard power supplies as well as battery chargers and transformers for the medical, military and industrial markets. Jerome will continue to design and manufacture products at its New Jersey facility; however, these functions will be supported by Astrodyne operations worldwide.
Peter Murphy, President and CEO of Astrodyne commented, “Astrodyne continues to augment its organic growth with acquisitions that expand its product line and increase penetration into target markets. Jerome was founded by the well known engineer and entrepreneur John DiGirolamo, who has built a company with a rich tradition of technical innovation and manufacturing excellence. We are truly excited about bringing Jerome to the Astrodyne team because of their superior product portfolio, focus on unique power solutions and extensive history of supporting the leading companies in the medical industry.”
