Littelfuse POWR-GARD Launches Motor Protection Relay Video
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Littelfuse, Inc., a leading expert in electrical safety, added a short video to its POWR-GARD Electrical Products Web site to demonstrate a reliable and practical way to protect small- to medium-horsepower motors and pumps using one of the three new Littelfuse POWR-GARD electronic overload relays, the PGR-6130, PGR-6150 or PGR-6800.
“The new video briefly demonstrates how these electronic overload relays can help customers prevent unscheduled shutdowns and lost productivity by detecting harmful electrical conditions before damage occurs”
“The new video briefly demonstrates how these electronic overload relays can help customers prevent unscheduled shutdowns and lost productivity by detecting harmful electrical conditions before damage occurs,” said Eva Jelezova, Marketing Manager, Littelfuse POWR-GARD Protection Relays. “Each of these relays offers a different combination of protective functions to meet application-specific needs.”
The PGR-6130 Electronic Overload Relay easily replaces older style overload devices and offers reliable motor-overload protection for low-voltage, low-horsepower motors.
The PGR-6150 Motor Protection System protects low-voltage, low- to medium-horsepower motors from overload, undercurrent, overcurrent, jam, overtemperature, phase loss, phase reverse, and phase unbalance. It also features an optional interface for remote operation.
The PGR-6800 Pump Protection Relay provides pump-specific functions such as undercurrent and can be used to replace and consolidate older relays and low-level sensors.
