Air Lease Corporation Leases Six New Airbus A321-200s to Thomas Cook
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Thomas Cook Airlines Limited, based in the U.K., has signed long term lease agreements with Air Lease Corporation (ALC) for six new Airbus A321-200s. These aircraft are from ALC’s order book from Airbus.
“We are delighted to include Thomas Cook as a key member of our growing customer base. Our management team has a long-standing relationship with the group and we are happy to support the renewal of their single-aisle fleet including A321-200s with sharklets. This decision will benefit Thomas Cook for years to come,” said Marc Baer, Executive Vice President of ALC.
The A321-200s are equipped with CFM56-B3/3 engines. Two of the aircraft will deliver in 2013, four in spring 2014.
