Manufacturers Participate in NJMEP’s Made In New Jersey Campaign
MORRIS PLAINS, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--36 New Jersey manufacturing companies have recently joined the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, Inc. (NJMEP) campaign Made In New Jersey. These new companies bring the total manufacturers featured on the NJMEP website to 116. NJMEP launched its campaign to bring attention to manufacturers in the state. In addition to the Made in New Jersey page on its website, NJMEP.org, the companies are featured in the NJMEP newsletter, Manufacturing Matters and on its Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
“Our intent for the Made In New Jersey campaign is to raise the awareness of manufacturing in the state and emphasizes the breadth, depth and diversity of our manufacturers capabilities”
Manufacturing has been a steady but quiet force that has recently been getting attention. In New Jersey, Governor Christie’s administration has initiated efforts to support the sector and on a national level the Obama administration has been doing the same.
NJMEP President & CEO, Robert Loderstedt explains, “NJMEP is part of a program that falls under the auspices of the National Institute of Standards and Technology. NIST has recently appointed manufacturing industry executive Michael F. Molnar to be the agency’s first-ever Chief Manufacturing Officer. This appointment confirms that manufacturing is once again a valued and respected component of our economy.”
“Our intent for the Made In New Jersey campaign is to raise the awareness of manufacturing in the state and emphasizes the breadth, depth and diversity of our manufacturers capabilities,” added Loderstedt.
NJMEP welcomes the following new companies to Made In New Jersey: Accuview, Allgrind Plastics, Inc.; Amcor Flexibles; Artex Knitting Mills; Bellville Wire Cloth Co.; Brecoflex; CHEM Flowtronics; Colorful Cutting Boards; Compass Wire Wire Cloth Co.; Crestron Electronics; Crown Roll Leaf; Distek; Edmund Optics Inc.; Emco Industrial Plastics; E V S Metal; Harmonson Stairs; Haussman Industries; Henry Repeating Arms; Troemner; Heyco Products, Inc; JACE Systems; Magna-Power Electronics,Inc.; Mincing Overseas Spice Company; Mira Plastics; National Manufacturing; Plast-O-Matic, Product Identification Co., Inc.; Productive Plastics, Inc.; Rotor Clip Company, Inc.; Star Candle Company; Superior Trademark Inc.; Sutherland Packaging, Inc.; Tribeca Oven; Van Ness Plastic Molding Co., Inc.; Vehicle Safety Manufacturing and W & E Baum.
