Dépèche transmise le 3 août 2011 par Business Wire
OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For the fifth year in a row, Werner Enterprises has been named as one of Inbound Logistics’ Top 100 3PL Providers. The annual list selects companies that are best equipped to offer the diverse operational capabilities and experience necessary to meet and surpass customers’ unique supply chain and logistics needs. Inbound Logistics selected Werner Enterprises as a 2011 Top 100 3PL Provider because of its successful track record in satisfying customers’ needs to cut total cost of logistics ownership, while delivering the operational efficiency required to be globally competitive.
“This award further demonstrates our dedication and commitment to providing best-in-class global transportation and logistics services for our customers.”
“Werner Enterprises is extremely proud to have been recognized as a Top 100 3PL Provider by Inbound Logistics,” said Derek Leathers, president and chief operating officer of Werner Enterprises. “This award further demonstrates our dedication and commitment to providing best-in-class global transportation and logistics services for our customers.”
“One key driver in our selection process was how a logistics solutions provider enables scalability for its customers. In today’s economic climate, it is required that a 3PL produce direct savings for customers by optimizing a transport network, reducing an inventory-to-sales ratio, or advancing the order-to-cash cycle,” said Felicia Stratton, editor for Inbound Logistics. “But it is just as important – in some cases more important – for a logistics partner to act as a business change agent, driving their customers’ ability to match demand for their products more closely to supply, aligning enterprise operational performance to the larger economic trend. That is what Werner Enterprises does, and why we are happy to recognize it as a 2011 Top 100 3PL.”
