MISUMI Now Offers MX Lubrication Option for LX Series Actuators and Linear Guides to Optimize Service Life
SCHAUMBURG, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MISUMI USA, Inc., a subsidiary of MISUMI Corporation, part of MISUMI Group, Inc. (Tokyo: 9962), has announced that it will now offer its exclusive MX Lubrication option for the company’s LX Linear Actuator Series and comprehensive line of Linear Guides.
The MX Lubrication option refers to the addition of a special polyurethane lubricating agent containing interconnected micro-particles that enable it to supply an optimal amount of lubrication on the track surface over the life of the actuators and guides, resulting in extended, maintenance-free operation. And, by providing a continuous lubrication between the rolling elements and their races, the MX self-lubricating system also acts as an effective seal, protecting the ball-nut and the linear rail from contamination. In the LX Actuators, the MX self-lubrication cartridges are mounted on both sides of the LX bearing block, lubricating both the ball screw and the integrated linear bearing rails with every motion of the actuator.
In addition to reducing maintenance time and costs, MISUMI’s newly available MX Lubrication option also improves the efficiency and friction-free performance of all sizes of LX Linear Actuators and Linear Guides.
