ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today Sun Country Airlines launched their “Everyone-Must-Go Sale” with fares as low as $79 one-way*. Sun Country’s sale is for travel between now and December 15, 2011, and available for a limited time. Consumers should act fast as they must book by September 27, 2011.

Sun Country Airlines is also gearing up for their winter travel season, flying consumers out of the cold weather to sunny destinations throughout the U.S., Mexico or the Caribbean. Sun Country’s newest destination this year is Liberia, Costa Rica, with non-stop service beginning January 13, 2012. Sun Country Airlines also has returning service to all the favorites: Phoenix, Palm Springs, Harlingen/South Padre Island, Ft. Myers, Miami, Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Montego Bay, Punta Cana, San Juan, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. Sun Country will also continue its year-round service to U.S. hot spots, including San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Orlando and Dallas.

*Stated one-way fare is for base ticket price and Federal Excise Tax only; other taxes and fees, and the Federal segment tax of $3.70 per U.S. domestic flight segment, defined as one takeoff and landing; up to $18 per round-trip in local airport Passenger Facility Charges and the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per U.S. Enplanement, up to $5 per one way or $10 per round-trip are extra. Worth, Phoenix, Boston, Washington, D.C. (DCA), San Diego, Orlando, Los Angeles, New York City (JFK), Harlingen/South Padre Island, Seattle, San Francisco, Ft. Myers, Palm Springs and Minneapolis/St. Paul from now until December 15, 2011. Blackout dates of October 18-20, 23-24, 2011 and November 19, 22-23, 26-28, 2011 do apply.

Stated fares are not retroactive and cannot be applied to previously purchased tickets. No credits or price adjustments can be made if the fare has changed after the ticket has been purchased. Seats are limited; space may not be available on all flights. Schedules are subject to change. Tickets are nonrefundable, but can be changed for a $75 change fee plus the difference to the new fare. Reservations must be cancelled prior to the flight departure time in order to retain the value of the ticket for one year from the date of purchase. Names can be changed for a $75 per ticket fee. Passengers may save money by checking their first bag for $20 each way and check a second bag for $30 each way if purchased more than 6 hours prior to outbound departure, or pay $25 each way for the first bag and a second bag fee of $35 each way if paid for at the airport; each bag is not to exceed 62 linear inches (length plus width plus height) and 50 pounds. Additional bags, as well as bags over 62 linear inches and 50 pounds, are subject to excess baggage fees of $75 each additional piece of excess baggage.
