U.S. Relied on CSI for Successful Humanitarian Operation
Dépèche transmise le 29 septembre 2011 par Business Wire
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Since 1990, CSI Aviation Services, Inc. has played an integral part in the federal government air transportation system.
“The U.S. government relies on private-sector companies to manage effective flight operations, and that’s where we come in”
Just this month, CSI completed the successful Mexican Interior Repatriation Program. As part of the operation, the company managed daily flights to return Mexican nationals found in the Sonoran Desert back to their hometowns safely.
The bilateral program was created to ensure a safe return for unlawful entrants into the United States. The program has been credited for saving lives as well as reducing organized crime and drug trafficking along the Arizona-Mexico border.
“The U.S. government relies on private-sector companies to manage effective flight operations, and that’s where we come in,” said Gretchen Collins, Vice President of Special Contracts and Business Development. “CSI has extensive knowledge providing aircraft for programs such as these due to our complex experience.”
Each year, a number of government agencies depend on CSI for their flight requirements and the oversight of the operations and logistics.
