AeroSvit and Global Advertising Strategies Honored at the 2011 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AeroSvit Airlines and its long time marketing agency, Global Advertising Strategies (Global), were selected as the 2011 Gold Magellan Award Winners for the carrier’s ‘We Connect You’ campaign. The win becomes AeroSvit’s first significant travel industry award in North America.

With entries from across the U.S. and around the world, the Magellan Awards is the premier awards program honoring the best in the travel industry.

In 2003, AeroSvit engaged Global to create a greater awareness for its brand in North America, where it currently offers service from New York and Toronto. The airline’s latest integrated marketing initiative focused on solidifying brand preference among its core customers, as well as securing a competitive advantage over other major international carriers providing service on New York – Kyiv route.
