New Hoses and Fittings from MISUMI Offer Options Suitable for a Host of Industries, from Food & Beverage to Chemical, and More
SCHAUMBURG, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MISUMI USA, Inc., a subsidiary of MISUMI Corporation, part of MISUMI Group, Inc. (Tokyo: 9962), recently announced the expansion of its Hoses and Fittings product offerings to include new models made of silicone and fluororesin materials. The new products bring more versatility and a greater range of selection options to the firm’s existing lines of industrial Hoses and Fittings.
MISUMI Hoses, used by manufacturers and processors across many industries, are available in a variety of inner diameter sizes, with hose lengths configurable to each customer’s specifications (within 0.1 mm increments). With these newly launched products, purchasers can order hoses only, or they can specify fitting options for one end or both ends, depending on the application. Most product versions ship in just six (6) days.
Following is a brief description of the new Hoses and Fittings now available from MISUMI:
- Hoses for Food, Standard Types – HOFW (hose only). Offers superior flexibility, excellent transparency to observe material transfer, and a choice of fitting types. Conforms to Food Sanitation laws.
- Hoses for Food, Vacuum Types – HOGFW (hose only. Deformation-resistant for excellent shape retention, excellent transparency to observe material transfer, and a choice of fitting types. Conforms to Food Sanitation laws.
- Silicone Hoses, Vacuum Types – SNHT (hose only). Vacuum type line extension to Standard Silicone Hoses features silicone rubber construction with polyester yarn reinforcement and 304 Stainless Steel collar. Hose offers a high level of deformation resistance to enable force feed and vacuum applications. Semi-transparent wall allows observation of transfer. Choice of fitting types available. Compliant with FDA and Food Sanitation laws.
- Fluororesin Hoses, Conductive Types – HOEFR. Features fluororesin hose interior, polyester yarn reinforcement and polyurethane resin exterior, a construction designed to prevent problems caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD). The smooth interior surface allows efficient transfer of high-viscosity fluids and easy cleaning with minimal residual fluids.
- Fluororesin Hoses, High Flex Types – HOJFR and HOJSR. Both offer chemical-resistant fluorine interior construction with urethane elastomer exterior. HOJFR features polyester yarn reinforcement, while HOJSR is reinforced with SST Spring Wire for added strength. Both offer a smooth interior surface for easy washout, as well as superior flexibility and performance in transferring water, air, oil, solvents or powders. Conforms to Food Sanitation laws.
- General Purpose Resin Hoses and Fittings– MISUMI offers several different Hose types for general purpose use, available in various size inner diameters and in standard and configurable lengths. This selection of new general purpose hose products includes: Standard, Oil-Proof, High Strength, and High Pressure types, all available with both brass and resin fittings In addition, MISUMI offers numerous types of fittings for its comprehensive selection of hose products.
