CPI Aero Announces $3.2 Million Production Program Order from Major Aerospace Prime Company
EDGEWOOD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CPI Aerostructures, Inc. (“CPI Aero®”) (NYSE Amex: CVU) announced today that it has received a purchase order from a leading global aerospace and defense company to produce aircraft structural assemblies, valued at approximately $3.2 million. Work on this order will commence immediately and deliveries are scheduled to occur over a twelve month period beginning in the third quarter of 2012.
CPI Aero has received six previous orders for this assembly totaling approximately $13 million from the same customer and is currently completing a contract that was awarded in May 2010.
