DAMMAM, Saudi Arabia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Science and Engineering, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASEI) (AS&E), a leading worldwide supplier of innovative X-ray detection solutions, in conjunction with Al Zamil Group, a global leader in industrial, petrochemical, and service sectors, announced that Saudi Arabia Customs debuted AS&E’s OmniView Gantry cargo and vehicle X-ray inspection system at King Abdul Aziz Seaport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The high-energy transmission X-ray system will inspect cargo entering the port for security threats and contraband. This is the first of several systems to be installed at port and land borders in Saudi Arabia. The system provides high penetration into inspected objects as it moves along rails over stationary vehicles and cargo.
