ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today Sun Country Airlines launched their “One Year Anniversary Sale” with fares as low as $79* each way. In order to celebrate the one year of service to Lansing and Washington D.C., the Hometown Airline is offering its lowest fare ever. The $79* offer is applicable for one-way travel between Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN and Lansing, MI or travel between Lansing, MI and Washington D.C. The “One Year Anniversary Sale” is available online and for travel beginning April 1, 2012.

Stated fares are not retroactive and cannot be applied to previously purchased tickets. No credits or price adjustments can be made if the fare has changed after the ticket has been purchased. Seats are limited; space may not be available on all flights. Schedules are subject to change. Tickets are nonrefundable, but can be changed for a $75 change fee per domestic ticket plus the difference to the new fare. If the fare of the new ticket is higher than the original fare, the fare difference will be collected in addition to the change fee. If the new fare is lower, the difference cannot be refunded, credited for future travel or applied towards the change fee. Reservations must be cancelled prior to the flight departure time in order to retain the value of the ticket for one year from the date of purchase. Names can be changed for a $75 per ticket fee for domestic tickets. Passengers may save money by checking their first bag for $20 each way and check a second bag for $30 each way if purchased online or by calling reservations at 800-359-6786 (Toll-free) or 651-905-2737 (Minneapolis/St. Paul Local), or pay $25 for a first bag fee each way and a second bag fee of $35 each way if paid for at the airport. Each bag is not to exceed 62 linear inches (length plus width plus height) or 50 pounds. Additional bags, as well as bags over 62 linear inches or 50 pounds, are subject to excess baggage fees of $75 each additional piece of excess baggage. Checked baggage can be pre-paid anytime from purchase of ticket up to one hour before domestic flights with the exception of two hours for Harlingen, Miami, Boston and San Francisco. Checked baggage may be prepaid up to 24 hours on international flights.

Our carry-on policy provides each ticketed passenger the following allowance at no additional charge: One (1) carry-on bag which may not exceed any of the following dimensions: 22” long x 14” wide x 9” tall (including wheels, handles, or any other protruding items), and may not exceed 35 pounds in weight. Passengers may also carry: One (1) smaller personal item (e.g., purse, laptop, etc.) which may not exceed any of the following dimensions: 16” long x 11’’ wide x 8” tall.
