Aug 17 (Interfax) - Aeroflot-Russian Airlines (RTS: AFLT) will spend a total of $5.81 billion on Airbus and Boeing passenger jets, according to documents compiled for the company's extraordinary shareholder meeting. The deal with Airbus for 22 A350 XWB will not exceed $2.904 billion. Aeroflot will pay Boeing up to $2.906 billion for 22 Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Based on the list price of the planes, the total cost should have come close to $7 billion. The specified sums do not include customs duties. The additional costs to carriers for importing foreign aircraft - customs duties plus VAT - amount to 38% of the price of the planes. -------------- Aeroflot, according to the terms of the deal with Airbus, discussed an option to convert the Airbus 350-800XWB, which can carry 270 passengers, into the Airbus 350-900XWB, which can carry 314 passengers. Intéressant ! -------------- Aeroflot should get its first Airbus 350XWB sometime after the start of the fourth quarter of 2014 and it should receive the last aircraft by the second quarter of 2019. Under the contract with Boeing, Aeroflot can acquire both Boeing 787-8 aircraft that have 248 seats, as well as the Boeing-787-9, with 290 seats. Petit ! Aeroflot should get the first Boeing 787 after January 2014 and the last one after September 2016. -------------- An Aeroflot EGM will discuss the deals with Airbus and Boeing on September 4. Patience, donc ! Aeroflot has acquired Airbus 330-200 under operational leasing from AerCap Ireland as a temporary solution to expanding its fleet until it gets new A350s in 2014-2019. Oui ! | Il faut que les russes mettent de clauses de pénalité énormes pour le retard et pour la performance de l'avion. Ils pourront gagner énormément d'argent sans même opérer l'avion. | ||

AsiaPulse News, Arrival Time: 2007-08-17 KARACHI, Aug 16 Asia Pulse - Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has signed a Letter of Intent for the lease of seven new Airbus A320-200 aircraft from Aviation Lease and Finance Company (ALAFCO), Kuwait. Chairman PIA said Friday that a comprehensive study was carried out, and based on technical and operational evaluation of the available options, Airbus A320-200 was selected as the most suitable choice for PIA. Induction of these aircraft is part of PIA's drive to modernise its fleet with newer and more fuel-efficient airliners to provide its customers with state-of-the-art technology airplanes with in-flight comfort. Motorisation devrait être IAE-V2500. ----------- The A320's will replace PIA's Boeing 737-300 f1eet, which has served the airline for more than 20 years. The deliveries of the A320s are expected to commence in 2009 and be completed in the same year. ................. PIA has recently acquired seven new ATR42-500 aircraft as replacements for its Fokker F-27 fleet. PIA's fleet also includes eight state-of-the-art Boeing 777 aircraft which are being utilised on long haul routes. | C'est quand même incompréhensible parce que une compensation de retard n'est applicable quand il y a un contrat qui le définit. Or, Bangkok n'a pas signé de contrat. Il parait le business case de l'A350 n'est pas excellent. | ||

pour travailler avec les thais, je peut vous dire qu'on peut vraiment douter de la véracité des prix annoncés (venant du coté thai).. il y a toujours des kilomètres entre ce qu'il annoncent (pour des question de "pas perdre la face") et la réalité... il y a probablement de meilleur exemple à prendre que celui là.. |

Exact ! Mais dupont aime titiller Airbus, et tout ce qui s'approche d'Airbus, pour détourner le regard des gros problèmes qui frappent Boeing! C'est la technique BCL! On dirait qu'ils sont payés pour,... comme les "pom-pom girls" des spectacles NBA ! Inutile de vous dire que je préfère les "pom-pom girls" ! Histoire de "appplied research" ! |
