AXA Corporate Solutions announce their new national General
Aviation program in the US. The new program will be managed through a
general agency relationship with Britt Paulk Ins. Agency, Inc.
Together Britt Paulk and AXA Corporate Solutions will develop an
Aviation Program that specializes in smaller aircrafts and FBO's.
The focus will be to grow the US market organically through
specialty products with strong growth partners. AXA Corporate
Solutions is one of the world's leading aviation insurance companies
and they want to become a force in the US market. Patrick de La
Morinerie AXA Corporate Solutions Deputy CEO stated that, "Through
Britt Paulk's unique OPUS(TM) product and strong underwriting team,
AXA will be able to 'jump start' their program in 49 States."
Britt Paulk's OPUS(TM) product will allow the group to issue
policies online for risks that have a hull value up to $3.5 million
and liability coverage of up to $2 million per occurrence. These
policies will flow through the OPUS(TM) system directly to the retail
agent in most cases. The OPUS(TM) system has been already in place for
a certain number of years to successfully issue policies for Builder's
Risk, Equipment, Marine Cargo and Self Storage on behalf of different
major international carriers and it is now intended to enlarge this
unique facility to Aviation with the support of AXA Corporate
Solutions. All of these products are underwritten and distributed from
Britt Paulk's home office in Carrollton, GA by a team of seasoned
players.
The aviation team will be led by Karl Jorda who has 20 years of
aviation experience. "I am excited about this unique opportunity in
the aviation field. The combination of AXA's security and financial
strength and Britt Paulk's systems and distribution platforms make a
powerful team," stated Jorda.
The group will enter the aviation market in the 2nd quarter of
2007 and will work to have their online OPUS(TM) product ready before
the end of the year. The product will be written on AXA Insurance
Company paper which is an admitted product with an 'A- " AM Best
rating.
