Pulse Publishes its 2007 Product Catalog
Communiqué publié le 13/04/2007 à 14h03

Pulse(R), a Technitrol (NYSE:TNL) Company, a worldwide leader in electronic component and subassembly design and manufacturing, today announced the release of the Pulse 2007 Product Catalog. The catalog features Pulse's newest product lines, such as antennas for consumer and automotive applications, automotive coils and transformers, plus unfiltered connectors for networking and telecommunications infrastructure and consumer products. The range of products still includes Pulse's classic inductors, transformers, transceivers, filtered connectors, splitters, and filters for LAN, telecommunications, broadband, and power conversion devices. Most recently, Technitrol acquired Larsen(R) Antennas, whose product lines of non-cellular and automotive antennas include more than 2,000 catalog antennas for automotive radio, wireless terminal, and infrastructure equipment for GPS. This expands Pulse's antenna product lines to support an even greater array of applications.

The new Pulse catalog contains informative product overviews, charts with pertinent electrical specifications, and data sheet references for the majority of the catalog components. Pulse's 40,000+ product configurations support a variety of technical applications for integrated circuits, AC/DC power supplies, and other platforms, including Ethernet, PoE, VoIP, DSL/HPN/cable, RF, wireless, MIL-STD-1553, DC/DC power conversion, Fibre Channel, T1, T3, ISDN, WiFi/WiMAX, and automotive functional monitoring and control. The catalog also discusses Pulse's custom and semi-custom design capabilities for all product lines.

Pulse's electronic components and assemblies are employed in a growing assortment of products and applications: switches, power supplies, cellular phones, PDAs, pagers, laptop and desktop computers, wireless devices and network systems, car radios and GPS, televisions, xDSL CO equipment, Internet over conventional telephone lines and coaxial cable, servers and routers, cable modems, set-top boxes, video game consoles, televisions, flat-panel displays, DVD players, digital cameras, navigation and radar systems, test equipment, commercial and military aircraft avionics, and satellites and space instrumentation.

This year's "Featured Products" include:

-- DSL, splitter circuit designs that can be customized for Central Office DSLAMs, rack-mount cards, cross-connect blocks, and main distribution frame (MDF) cards;

-- Quad- and dual-port gigabit Ethernet transformer modules that are 50% smaller than components on the market today;

-- "Diversity" antennas that offer outstanding signal immunity and the highest quality transmission possible for today's small and fashionable, hand-held, consumer devices;

-- Single and dual antennas for automotive and cellular wireless access points;

-- Unfiltered connectors with cages for networking and telecom infrastructure;

-- High-data-rate Copperhead(TM) transceivers for military and aerospace applications;

-- High-efficiency, off-the-shelf power transformers for PoE; and

-- MoCA-compliant diplexers that enable triple-play service.
