Spirit Airlines today announced nonstop service between Fort
Lauderdale and San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Service will be offered three
times weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays starting July 20, 2007
and will then convert to daily service starting November 15, 2007. In
addition to nonstop service from Fort Lauderdale, Spirit will also
offer convenient connections from its domestic network.
Honduras is a vibrant country, brimming with clear turquoise
waters, pristine beaches, breathtaking mountains and fascinating
ancient ruins.
San Pedro Sula, Honduras will be Spirit's third Central American
destination served. Earlier this year, Spirit started service to San
Jose, Costa Rica and recently announced new service to Guatemala City,
Guatemala. Spirit serves all routes with its fleet of Airbus aircraft,
the youngest in the Americas.
"We are excited to bring our ultra low cost service to Honduras
which allows us to offer low fares and grow the overall market by
empowering customers to fly who could not afford to travel before,"
said Barry Biffle, Spirit's Chief Marketing Officer. "San Pedro Sula
is the industrial capital of Honduras and our new service will
contribute to the growth of commerce and tourism in this important
city."

Fares:
Introductory coach fares between Fort Lauderdale and San Pedro
Sula, Honduras start at 8 cents each way(i) when purchased at
spiritair.com by April 27, 2007 for travel on select dates. Spirit
Airlines will also offer each way fares starting at $8(i) on
additional dates when purchased at spiritair.com by April 27, 2007.

class travel and reflect the spiritair.com discount. Fares are each
way based on roundtrip purchase, and roundtrip travel is required, but
these fares may be combined with other valid and applicable Spirit
Airlines fares on other days of the week. All fares listed on

base fare plus a federal excise tax. Fares do not include (a) a
segment tax of $3.40 per U.S. domestic flight segment (a flight
segment is defined as one takeoff and landing) of a passenger's
itinerary; (b) up to $18 per round trip in local airport charges; or
(c) a September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement originating
at a U.S. airport. International itineraries do not include
governmental taxes and fees (including U.S. government excise tax) of
up to $125 per round trip. Additionally, if sold in, or travel
