Spirit Airlines, the largest Ultra Low Cost Carrier (ULCC) serving
the Caribbean and Latin America, announced today that it is putting
select destinations in the Caribbean, the Bahamas and Latin America on
sale.
Spirit Airlines blankets the Americas with more nonstop
destinations from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport than
any other carrier and is offering smokin' hot deals for travel through
late spring.
"Our customers have told us that it's all about the fare. Our
ultra low cost structure allows us to be successful while allowing our
customers who couldn't afford to travel before the chance to fly,"
said Barry Biffle, Spirit's Chief Marketing Officer. "It's easy to be
a low fare carrier but hard to be a low cost carrier. We invite
Floridians to come see what all the fuss is about!"
Spirit serves all routes with its fleet of Airbus aircraft, the
youngest in the Americas.
Sale fares are valid for travel starting May 4, 2007 and must be
purchased on spiritair.com by 11:59pm EST on May 2, 2007. All travel
must be completed by June 13, 2007 and require a 7-day advance
purchase. Other restrictions apply. Fares for all other markets are
