Spirit Airlines today announced the launch of an innovative new
program, Spirit Top Picks(TM), which gives customers access to the
best travel deals each week. Each Tuesday, Spirit will produce a list
of the best travel offers in the U.S., Latin America and the
Caribbean. The Spirit Top Picks(TM) list will be promoted on Spirit's
website, spiritair.com, and will be sent to Spirit's e-mail
subscribers.
"We continue to expand our overall offering on spiritair.com which
is already known for the best airfare deals and now spiritair.com will
be thought of as the place for hotels, tours and more," said Michael
Pewther, Spirit's Senior Director of Sales. "With Spirit Top Picks, we
are offering our customers the opportunity to take advantage of the
best travel deals available from our partners."
Customers can sign up to receive Spirit Top Picks(TM) on
spiritair.com while industry partners who wish to participate can
e-mail their offers to toppicks@spiritair.com.
To celebrate the launch of Spirit Top Picks(TM), Spirit is
offering sale fares starting at 1 cent each way(a). Fares must be
purchased at spiritair.com by 11:59pm EST on May 2, 2007 for travel on
select days.

market and by market direction. All fares are for coach class travel
and reflect the spiritair.com discount. Fares are each way based on
roundtrip purchase, and roundtrip travel is required, but these fares
may be combined with other valid and applicable Spirit Airlines fares

City commences on May 10, 2007. All fares listed on spiritair.com are
per customer for each way of travel and include the base fare plus a
federal excise tax. Fares do not include (a) a segment tax of $3.40
per U.S. domestic flight segment (a flight segment is defined as one
takeoff and landing) of a passenger's itinerary; (b) up to $18 per
round trip in local airport charges; or (c) a September 11th Security
Fee of $2.50 per enplanement originating at a U.S. airport.
International itineraries do not include governmental taxes and fees
(including U.S. government excise tax) of up to $125 per round trip.
Additionally, if sold in, or travel originates in a country outside of
the U.S., additional taxes may apply (up to 22% of the fare value per
country). Fares are capacity controlled and subject to availability,
and will be highly restricted around certain holiday periods.
