Influential Brands," released by Dr. Robert Mundell's World Brand Lab.
Dr. Mundell, Chairman of the Brand Lab, is the 1999 winner of the

first Chinese airline to be honored as a top-500 world brand, taking
the 461st place.
"Air China is proud to receive this recognition," said Mr. Li
Jiaxing, Chairman of Air China. "We hope the ranking reflects
passengers' enthusiasm for our service, for our global network to and
from China, and for the stability of the airline, which has earned a
consistent profit for the past six years. We were pleased to be
honored last year by Forbes on its 'Global 2000' list of successful
companies, and we are likewise very honored by the World Brand Lab."
