GA Telesis, LLC ("GAT"), today announced that its affiliate,
Aldebaran Leasing Limited, a joint venture with EB-Erste Bank
Internationale Beteiligungen GmbH ("EBIB") has acquired two Airbus
A340-200 aircraft (serial numbers 014 and 022). The aircraft will
remain on long-term lease to Royal Jordanian Airlines.
"This transaction represents several milestones for GA Telesis:
our largest individual asset transaction price per aircraft, our first
Airbus A340 acquisition and our first Middle Eastern aircraft lease
customer," said Abdol Moabery, President/CEO of GA Telesis. "We are
delighted with the outcome of our partnership with EBIB and our new
premier customer, Royal Jordanian Airlines," he added.
The acquisition from GIE Lizad was originated by GA Telesis and
financed by Erste Bank (London).
