Starting August 1, passengers purchasing and flying on Air China's
international service will have the chance to receive free tickets to
the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and enjoy the Summer Olympics events.
Air China, as the sole airline sponsor of the 2008 Olympic Games, is
pleased to offer this promotion to its international passengers and
help them to enjoy their favorite Olympic sport on site and in person
in Beijing.

Six years ago, in 2001, Beijing won the bid to host the 2008
Olympic Games. As the representative of Chinese enterprises and the
Chinese airline industry, Air China has continuously served the
Chinese Sports Delegation for more than 20 years. In August 2004, Air
China, serving as China's sole designated flag carrier, was appointed
as the single Airline Partner of the 2008 Olympic Games. This
appointment was based on Air China's competitive strength and its
careful preparation for selection, as compared with other airline
competitors. Bids were evaluated by the Beijing Organizing Committee
for the Games of the 29th Olympiad, as authorized by the International
Olympic Committee.
Air China hopes to express its appreciation for this role by

service.
