AMMAN, Jordan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aegis Industries LLC, the emerging leader of professional security solutions, this week will preview its new type class of intermediate force option — the industry’s first Handheld Modular Multi-Stimulus Response Device (HMMRD) — at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC) Grand Opening, Amman, Jordan, 19-21 May 2009, Booth #53-54.
“We are honored to be participating in this landmark event at KASOTC. This state-of-the-art training center is a perfect venue to preview our ground-breaking and forthcoming HMMRDs,” said Kenneth Stethem, chairman and CEO of Aegis Industries. “The demands placed on our military services today call for unprecedented force protection solutions. Aegis’ line of HMMRDs provides operators, for the first time, with a scalable, modular and multi-stimulus force option. The HMMRDs also allow operators to transition up and down the force continuum faster, safer and more effectively while completing their missions.”
KASOTC is an invitation-only event co-sponsored by the United States Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT). The three-day event includes the grand opening of the KASOTC facility, his Majesty King Abdullah II’s vision for a world-class special forces training center, as well as the First Annual Warrior Competition. Additionally, command leaders and unit competitors from special operations units from around the globe will view leading-edge technology innovations and discuss the latest tactics that support the counter terrorism war fighter.
