URS to Provide Support Services for Federal Aviation Administration Research and Development Facility

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--URS Corporation (NYSE: URS) today announced that it has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to provide construction, operations and maintenance services for environmental remediation projects at the FAA’s 5,000 acre William J. Hughes Technical Center located at the Atlantic City International Airport in New Jersey. The ten-year contract has a maximum value of $88 million to URS.
Under the terms of the contract, URS can compete for, or be assigned, task orders to provide a variety of services including construction, testing, and initial operations and maintenance of the environmental remedial action systems; long-term operations and maintenance of existing treatment systems; geographic information system support for ongoing as well as future remedial efforts; and monitoring and maintenance services for underground storage tank systems.
