DUBAI, UAE, October 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Seawings LLC, the only seaplane tour operator in the Middle East, is pleased to announce that due to growing demand, they have commenced flight operations on October 1st from the Dubai Creek.
The new base is conveniently located on the waters of the Creek in close proximity to both the Park Hyatt and Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club. This new base will be operational from October 2009. Seawings will offer two experiences; Seawings Silver, a 40 minute sightseeing tour of Dubai and Seawings Gold, an exclusive private charter for up to nine passengers.
Seawings will offer aerial experiences to and from other UAE locations, including, Ras Al Khaimah and the majestic East Coast, as well as one way flights to and from Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa. Guests may package any flight with lunch, dinner, tea, spa, golf, Dolphinarium or many other exciting activities in and around the Seawings base locations.
The Park Hyatt Dubai is a luxury waterfront retreat adjacent to the world-famous Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. This new base is situated just minutes away from the city centre, world-class shopping and prime business districts.
The Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, voted one of the world's 'Top 100 Must-Play Golf Courses', is a resort that incorporates an 18 hole championship golf course, a 9 hole Par 3 course, Golf Academy, six restaurants and bars, gymnasium, tropical swimming pool, the 225-bedroom Park Hyatt Dubai, 92 residential executive villas and a 121-berth marina.
The launch of this new base provides a convenient option for passengers to experience an aerial perspective of Dubai from a seaplane. Tourists and residents of Dubai and its neighboring Emirates can enjoy the picturesque setting, accessibility and popularity of the location as well as packages to suit a variety of needs.
The Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club provides an ideal location allowing Seawings passengers to experience both the traditional and modern aspects of Dubai. With its club house built in 1993 and designed to mirror the sails of an Arab Dhow and pristine landscape, passengers are spoilt for choice when it comes to natural beauty and modern architecture.
Steeped in history the Dubai Creek is home to traditional abras and a range of wildlife. Separating Deira from Bur Dubai and in a city of modern architecture and iconic landmarks, the Dubai Creek promotes the original "old" Dubai, where pearling established Dubai as a trading hub, setting in motion the modern day city that it currently is.
The Seawings on call reservations team, operating from 8 am to 8 pm, will provide information on available timings of flights, as well as bookings and all other necessary information.
On the occasion of this launch, Stuart Wheeler, CEO of Seawings said, "Considering the enormous potential passenger base in Dubai and with the tremendous growth in the tourism industry, we have been working hard to ensure that Seawings is conveniently located and offers customers a range of benefits within our product offering. By opening new departure points, we look forward to catering to the demands of a larger segment of individuals and groups. Our Silver flights will allow passengers explore the marvels and history of Dubai in a unique and convenient way without wasting time and energy on road travel. This is just the beginning. We will keep on offering new services and adding new tour options based on the customer requirements"
