Over 30 Air China flights to Mecca departed from Beijing, Lanzhou, Yinchuan and Kunming from 30th October to 18th November. Despite difficulties in changing schedules, inclement weather and complicated flight lines, all Air China journeys were a success. Special meals were provided to passengers according to their religious customs and beliefs.
Air China has arranged for charter flights to return pilgrims from Mecca between the 2nd and 23rd December, after the end of the Hajj festivities.
