DialAFlight Launches Innovative New Mobile App to Aid Travellers
Dépèche transmise le 22 novembre 2010 par PRNewswire
LONDON, November 22, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Last week DialAFlight, online booking agents who offer flights to Thailand () and destinations worldwide, launched a brand new app - the first of its kind - for the iPhone. Designed to aid travellers abroad, it is now available as a free download () from iTunes.
Some of the key features of this unique app include the ability to search for the best flight prices leaving from the UK, the ability to upload a complete travel itinerary straight to your iPhone - which automatically updates as you travel - and the ability to update your flight status within three hours of departure, showing whether your flights are on time or delayed.
Another useful feature is the 'Find My Hotel' tool. Using this you need never be lost in a foreign city again, as the app recognises which city you are in, locates your hotel and offers directions back to it.
The app also offers a hotline straight through to a specialist travel advisor that can be reached at the touch of a button and gives you an alternative contact should the person not be available.
Managing director Peter Stephens said today, "DialAFlight prides itself on being the market leader in many aspects of its business and the launch of the DialAFlight app () affirms this. Perfect for business travellers and holidaymakers alike, it's an essential bit of kit for anyone wanting to make things that little bit easier abroad. What's more, it's completely free and available to anyone with an iPhone."
