Sun Country Vacations takes Minnesotans to Paris

MINNEAPOLIS & ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sun Country Vacations announced today a special charter package to Paris, France. Consumers will leave Minnesota on Sunday January 30, 2011 and return Tuesday, February 1, 2011, giving them roughly 30 hours to explore all Paris has to offer. There are limited seats available; packages are for sale immediately at www.suncountry.com.

Sun Country Vacations Paris Charter Details:

• Depart Terminal 2-Humphrey on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 5:00pm CST, with intermediate stop in Gander, Newfoundland and arrive in Paris, France at 10:15am CET on Monday, January 31, 2011
• Depart Paris, France on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 5:00pm CET with intermediate stop in Gander, Newfoundland and arrive in Minneapolis at 7:30pm CST on Tuesday, February 1, 2011
• Round trip airfare in coach-class is $300* per person, plus taxes & fees (see below)
  • Catering in coach includes complimentary non-alcoholic beverages as well as two meals (entrée/dessert & sandwich) both to and from Paris
  • Coach passengers may also rent a DigEplayer for $10; Sun Country’s personal entertainment system featuring movies, TV shows, music games & more
• First Class upgrades will be offered at the airport upon check-in for $150*** one-way

*Seats are limited; stated fare must be purchased by 11:59PM CT (Central Time) on January 27, 2011. Stated fare is valid for travel from Minneapolis/St. Paul to Paris, France departing Minneapolis/St. Paul January 30, 2011 and returning to Minneapolis/St. Paul February 1, 2011. International taxes in addition to the base fare are approximately $120 in coach and $170 in First Class and are subject to change based on the currency exchange rate. Air only reservations are non-refundable, but can be changed for a $100 change fee, plus the difference to the new fare. Names can be changed for a $75 per ticket fee. Stated airfare rates are not retroactive and cannot be applied to previously purchased tickets. No credits or price adjustments can be made if the fare has changes after the ticket has been purchased. Seats are limited.

Rates are subject to change based on availability Airline and hotel taxes and fees are included in the package rate. Packages cannot be purchased in conjunction with any promotions, discounts, vouchers or Ufly Plus membership No credits or price adjustments can be made if the package rates have changed after the package has been purchased. Seats are limited; rates may not be available on all flights or to all hotels. Schedules are subject to change. Packages may be changed 8 days* or more before departure for a fee of $150 per person per Package. If the price of the Package is higher than the original Package, the price difference will be added to the change fee. If the new price is lower, the difference will not be refunded and will not be applied towards the change fee. Packages cannot be changed and are non-refundable less than 8 days prior to departure. Name changes are allowed for an additional fee of $125 per person 8 days or more prior to departure. Package cancellation made 8 days or more* prior to departure will be refunded minus a $300 penalty per person. If Package value is less than $300, the purchase becomes completely non-refundable. No refund will be given if package is cancelled 7 days or less prior to departure. No refund will be given if passenger(s) is refused boarding; including, but not limited to, not having proper travel documents.

Passengers may save money by checking their first bag for $20 each way and check a second bag for $30 each way if purchased more than 6 hours prior to outbound departure, or pay $25 each way for the first bag and a second bag fee of $35 each way if paid for at the airport; each bag is not to exceed 62 linear inches (length plus width plus height) and 50 pounds. Additional bags, as well as bags over 62 linear inches and 50 pounds, are subject to excess baggage fees of $75 each additional piece of excess baggage. ***Stated upgrade enhancement is for Minneapolis/St. Paul to Paris, France flights only. Upgrading reservation can only be processed at the airport the day of travel upon check-in for $150 each way. Round trip airfare may also be reserved for $800 in advance additional taxes and fees of $165.40 will apply to advance first class upgrade. First Class ticket holders will receive two checked bags free if purchased in advance and one checked bag free in purchased at the airport. First Class ticket holders are subject to the normal overweight or oversize baggage fee.
