BATAVIA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gaspardo & Associates announces the launch of its new ComScan.Biz website, showcasing a full line of Automated 3D COMponent SCANning Solutions. All of the solutions, from the simple stand-alone system to the Semi-Spherical Gantry (SSG) system, are designed to make the use of any 3D Area Scanner easier and faster.
“Once the ComScan product line was complete, it made sense to create this new website for our growing community of users and people just getting started with 3D scanning”
“Once the ComScan product line was complete, it made sense to create this new website for our growing community of users and people just getting started with 3D scanning,” said Steve Gaspardo, Founder and President.
While 3D Area Scanner owners are able to get 3D measurement data faster and cheaper than a traditional Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM), they often find too much time is spent repositioning the part being measured, positioning the scanning camera and stitching the scan together. Gaspardo & Associates designed the ComScan Solutions to make 3D Area Scanning even faster and easier by automating the part repositioning, the scanning camera positioning and automating the stitching with Polyworks Software. The Semi-Spherical Gantry (SSG) system takes repositioning the scanning camera a step further with fully automated scanner camera repositioning from 0 to 90 degrees.
The website presents a variety of ComScan configurations available. Even though the website showcases systems integrated with Steinbichler’s Comet-5, the Cubic Vision’s Cubic WL1, and Faro’s AMP, Gaspardo & Associates is open to integrating other 3D Area Scanners for their customers.
www.ComScan.biz is the place to go to replace an existing manual touch probe or programmable CMM or upgrade an existing scanner.
