BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Satcon Technology Corporation® (NASDAQ CM: SATC), a leading provider of utility-scale power conversion solutions for the renewable energy market, today announced that it has achieved the number one position in market share for the North American solar inverter market. The data, published in IMS Research’s Q1 2011 PV Inverter Quarterly Market Tracker Report, shows that Satcon shipped the most total megawatts of any inverter manufacturer in the Americas in Q1 2011.
