Dispatchers Ratify Contract Between US Airways and the Transport Workers Union

TEMPE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Flight dispatchers at US Airways (NYSE: LCC), represented by the Transport Workers Union (TWU), have voted to ratify the new four-year collective bargaining agreement previously announced on June 15. The new agreement is the second contract ratified by the airline’s 164 TWU-represented dispatchers since the US Airways-America West Airlines merger in 2005. The new contract will extend through June 2015.
