Executive Team Grows in Response to Record Demand for GTS Products and Services
FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Technology Systems, Inc. (GTS), the worldwide leader in mobile power delivery, today announced it added three vice presidents to its executive team in response to the record demand for its products and services.
“GTS is proof-positive that investing in innovation can and does create jobs. We are currently looking to add to our engineering, sales, and marketing teams.”
“As businesses and governments increased their reliance on mobile devices, we invested heavily in research and engineering,” said Lawrence A. Murray, chairman and CEO of GTS. “We hired engineers and scientists to develop new, innovative mobile power technology.”
GTS technology powers two-way radios, barcode scanners, mobile computers and other mobile devices that increase workforce productivity and ensure wireless connectivity. GTS batteries and chargers are available for products from a variety of device manufacturers, including Motorola, Zebra and Intermec. This enables GTS to provide all the batteries and chargers needed across an enterprise or municipality. GTS energy management services show firms how to conserve power and lower the total cost of their mobile infrastructure.
“Our investments in technology and people have produced record sales, which led us to grow our executive team,” continues Murray. “GTS is proof-positive that investing in innovation can and does create jobs. We are currently looking to add to our engineering, sales, and marketing teams.”
The three new executives are responsible for customer support, growing new markets, and introducing newly developed technologies.
- Jerry Bobinski, formerly with Motorola and Zebra Technologies, is now vice president of North American sales.
- Eric Lind, formerly with Duracell, ConocoPhillips, the 3rd largest U.S. integrated energy company, and Ultralife Corp., serves as the company’s vice president responsible for the strategic and technical marketing efforts. Eric oversees the integration of new technologies into GTS’ product line-up.
- Bill Bigelow, a former Motorola executive responsible for product performance and customer service, is the vice president of GTS’ European operations.
