ESCO Corporation Appoints Jon Owens President of Its Engineered Products Group

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ESCO Corporation, a leading manufacturer of highly engineered wear parts and replacement products used in mining, infrastructure development, power generation, aerospace and industrial applications, today announced that Jon Owens, current Vice President of Marketing and Global Business Processes, has been appointed President of the Engineered Products Group (EPG), effective November 1, 2011.

As President of EPG, Owens will have global responsibility for the EPG division, which designs, develops and manufactures products and services for mining, infrastructure development and other complex industrial wear applications. EPG products include ground engaging tools and buckets used in earth moving, crusher parts, scrap recycling hammers and dragline rigging products.
Since joining ESCO in 1986, Owens has held various positions in product management, business development, international sales and marketing, manufacturing and supply chain management. His roles included responsibility for the company’s European Division, Mining Business Unit and Asia Pacific Region. He became a Vice President in 2007.
