NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Speakers and presenters from a wide array of agencies responsible for border security will be presenting and networking at IDGA’s Border Management Conference and Technology Expo to be held November 7-9, 2011 at the Town & Country Resort in San Diego, CA.

“The speakers and attendees of this event reflect many of the agencies and personnel responsible for US border security”

The objective of the Border Management Expo is to bring together the multiple federal, state and local agencies involved in border security in order to increase collaboration and their information sharing capabilities. The event combines three world-class conferences on border management, maritime security and UAV platforms, with an exhibition of the most current technologies available to support border management initiatives. The exhibition features a special emphasis on COTS products which are playing an increasing role in securing our borders.

Top conference speakers and agencies include:

  • The Honorable Grayling Williams, Director, Office of Counter Narcotics Enforcement, DHS
  • Rear Admiral Christopher C. Colvin, Deputy Commander, Pacific Area, United States Coast Guard
  • Kumar Kibble, Deputy Director, US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement
  • Maj Gen Michael Kostelnik, USAF (Ret.), Assistant Commissioner, Air and Marine, US CBP

“The speakers and attendees of this event reflect many of the agencies and personnel responsible for US border security,” said Michael Gallo, IDGA’s Group Director. “For example, the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) is a great resource within DHS that other agencies should be aware of. They’re presenting and speaking at the event, and we’re honored to have them. Bringing important entities together to facilitate a common operating picture and collaboration between these groups is central to our mission.”
