Republic Airways Reports September 2011 Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for September 2011. The Company generated 1.7 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 2% decrease from the same month last year, while capacity was down 3% at 2.1 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were 76,582 in September 2011, a decrease of 4% from September 2010. Consolidated load factor was 80% in September of 2011 versus 79% in the same month last year. Republic Airways carried 2.6 million passengers during the month, a 2% reduction from the same month last year.
