Turkey, Morocco, Bulgaria, Colombia, Chile, Guatemala and South Korea join
the Egencia Global Alliance
Egencia(R), an Expedia, Inc. company, has today announced that it has expanded its global footprint by seven new countries, providing travel management services to clients in Turkey, Morocco, Bulgaria, South Korea, Colombia, Chile, and Guatemala. The Egencia Global Alliance (EGA) is comprised of strategic partnerships with market-leading local travel management providers across the world. With the addition of these seven new country partnerships, Egencia now has a presence in 47 countries worldwide.
All EGA partners are carefully chosen based on their ability to provide best in class quality and service and are aligned with Egencia's customer centric values and standards. All partners provide clients with airline and rail ticket booking, hotel and car reservations, visa services, as well as MICE and leisure services.
The following partners join the Egencia family, as part of the global alliance:
EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa)
Turkey: Golden Bay Tour was established in 1997 and now has a strong presence in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.
Bulgaria: Sunny Holidays, established in 1999, has 7 offices throughout the country, including the capital Sofia.
Morocco: Happy Travel, founded in 2000, has a presence in Marrakech, Casablanca, Agadir, Oujda, and travel desks in all major Moroccan airports.
Latin America
Colombia: Tourexito, based in Bogota, has over 20 years of business travel experience.
Chile: Viajes Andina del Sud, founded in 1913 and based in Santiago de Chile, will service Egencia travellers in Chile with more than 60 travel consultants.
Guatemala: Lax Travel was founded 16 years ago and is now the number one agency in Guatemala. It has a presence in more than 13 cities through 90 travel agents.
Asia
South Korea: Sebang Travel, the 4th largest TMC in South Korea, has won several top awards in its long history of over 50 years of service excellence.
