GT Exhaust Releases A201-8100 Silencer for Production, Expanding A201 Product Line and Establishes Leadership in Sound Attenuation Capability
LINCOLN, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GT Exhaust of Lincoln, Nebraska announces the expansion of the A201 product line with the release of the A201-8100 Super Extreme Grade silencer. This rugged silencer has the greatest sound attenuation capability in its class, with validated sound attenuation of 45-60 dB(A). The A201-8100 sets the sound attenuation standard for internal combustion engines where ambient sound is very low and optimum sound attenuation is mandatory.
Designed to meet the needs of today’s sound attenuation market, the A201-8100 is well suited for heavy duty power generation, oil & gas and marine applications. With validated sound attenuation of 45-60 dB(A), customers can be assured noise requirements will be met, while at the same time meeting engine backpressure requirements.
The A201-8100 silencers are available in Style 1 and Style 2 configurations. ANSI flanges on inlet / outlet is standard on 6” and larger units. Standard construction is carbon steel painted in high heat black, with powder coat paint being optional. Stainless steel options are available.
Warranty is 1 year on high-heat painted silencers and 3 years on powder coat painted silencers.
A full line of accessories for the silencers is available including mounting brackets, flex/bellows, wyes, elbows and rain caps.
