| Ce ne serait pas plutot un C 212 ? Quoi qu'il en soit, avion en bon état ou pas, ça reste toujours une aventure de voler dans ces régions, rapport aux conditions météo "ordinaires" que l'on peut y trouver. | ||

Question de sémantique ! ETOPS, il va falloir vous y faire, et aller doucement dans vos libations avec votre copain eilien777 ! Lien : http://www.times-standard.com/statenews/ci_9718451 Giant Boeing 777 assigned to wrong LAX taxiway The Associated Press Article Launched: 06/27/2008 08:12:22 AM PDT LOS ANGELES—A new aircraft designation tag has been blamed for assignment of a giant All Nippon Airways Boeing 777-300 jetliner to a too-short Los Angeles International Airport taxiway. The Federal Aviation Administration said Thursday the All Nippon jetliner arriving from Tokyo had a "B77W" data designation tag. The new international designation wasn't recognized by LAX controllers on June 19. Vous vous rendez compte ! -------------------------- FAA spokesman Ian Gregor says it doesn't appear anyone in the Los Angeles tower knew what the new B77W data tag meant. Vous vous rendez compte ! -------------- Gregor says the pilot was directed to a taxiway that was too short to handle the massive aircraft, causing part of the plane to protrude five feet into the 205-foot safety zone around one of the northern runways. En plus, le pilote est japonais ! Si les Américains "ne savent pas", comment voulez-vous que les pilotes étrangers 'sachent' ! ---------------------- An American Airlines MD-83 aircraft then landed on the north airfield and rolled past the All Nippon Airways plane. Gregor says it's considered to be a runway incursion even though there was no chance that jetliners would have collided. ------------- Il y a du boulot à faire ! |

Encore un GE CF-6 ? Mais non ! Pas forcément un problème moteur ! Lien : http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/20 ... cisco.html DATE:30/06/08. SOURCE:Flightglobal.com PICTURE: Fire badly damages ABX 767F at San Francisco By David Kaminski-Morrow Fire has seriously damaged an ABX Air Boeing 767-200 freighter while the twin-jet was parked at San Francisco International Airport late yesterday. The aircraft has been identified as a 22-year old example, registered N799AX, owned by the carrier and powered by General Electric CF6 engines. It has suffered substantial damage to the forward fuselage, images from the scene indicate, with the hull burned through across the crown above the forward exits. There is also evidence of smoke around the cockpit windows. No firm information has yet been disclosed as to where the fire started and the extent of any internal damage. ----- Pas de conclusions hâtives ! ©Jack Hannen Two pilots are said to have been on board the aircraft at the time, preparing for a flight to ABXs Wilmington base in Ohio, and escaped with only minor injuries. ABX Airs operations include services on behalf of express package specialist DHL. The 767 involved in the incident was in DHL colours. ..................... Grrr !! JPRS Paris _________________ JPRS |
